EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee (EXCO) is responsible for strategy formulation and implementation in pursuit of the organisation’s developmental goals and objectives. The EXCO ensures to deliver on the recommendations set forth by the Advisory Board.
Tsepo Ntshona
Chief Executive Officer
Tsepo is the Chief Executive Officer of Africabx responsible for corporate governance, corporate strategy, corporate finance, stakeholder governance, risk governance, and business management administration.
His business acumen and leadership accomplishments have been recognized by industry peers and resulted in a Gold Award at the prestigious ROCCI Business of the Year Awards 2019 and invitations as a guest speaker on radio stations and as a key note speaker at events to share his insights on leadership, governance and corporate strategy.
Prior to Africabx he was the CEO of BMS Network International, a business management support enterprise focused on Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME) development, with an international footprint of associate and strategic partners across Africa, North America, Latin America, Europe, and UAE.
Isaac Sibanda
Chief Operations Officer
Isaac is the Chief Operations Officer of Africabx responsible for overseeing the organisation’s operations, corporate strategy implementation, strategic corporate finance, organisational performance management and stakeholder governance.
Isaac is a visionary business executive with more than 15 years of multi industry experience in generating top and bottom-line growth across companies ranging from start-ups to big corporations. He is a flexible and dynamic leader, who has identified and guided corporations to capitalize on a host of market opportunities while building capable business leaders and optimizing internal efficiency across the value chain. From delivering turnarounds to business expansions, he has forged a legacy of sustainable business growth, revenue and profit growth as well as operational excellence.
Before joining Africabx, he was the Head of Finance at Delta Quantity Surveyors. Key achievements include growing revenue, increasing efficiency and boosting the company valuation, profitability and cash flows.
Isaac, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and he is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), a certified Business Executive with the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA) and a Professional Tax Practitioner with the South African Institute of Tax (SAIT). He is currently completing his studies with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
David Nhlapo
Chief Commercial Officer
David is the Chief Commercial Officer of Africabx responsible for commercial strategy development and implementation, strategic corporate communication, business development and marketing.
He is an entrepreneur and community builder at heart, whose motto is, “Education is an impact vehicle for maximum impact.”
David read his undergraduate degree in Politics, Public Administration and Economics at the University of Cape Town. Former Finance Minister of South Africa, Trevor Manuel, commented on his final year critique of the then South African GEAR Policy, as riveting, educationally sound and visionary for astute policies that would grow the South African economy.
He is a critical thinker, seeking commercial growth in the organisations he leads. Some of his career achievements include, introduction of the first fuel loyalty program in South Africa, Clicks Group and Shell; Winning Product of the Year with Vital Mini Rice cakes; Won best loyalty program in South Africa with Clicks Group, growing Club Card membership and contributing a 3% to revenue >R3bn ZAR; among many other achievement
Nomsa Khuzwayo
Chief Learning Officer
Nomsa is the Chief Learning Officer of Africabx leading the Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition and Management and Human Resources Management Strategies of the Organisation.
Nomsa has also built her name in the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector. She led the implementation of the Shanduka Black Umbrellas SME Development Strategy that moved the businesses in the Eastern Cape Province from small to medium and to employing large numbers of workers consistently for many years.
Nomsa is a seasoned Education, Learning and Development specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the private and public sectors as well as parastatals. She believes in the inculcation of the culture of lifelong learning and she encourages organisations to be mindful of the agility of the learning and development space therefore recommending that people keep abreast with the new trends and conversations and taking place in the L & D space all the time.
Nomsa has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Industrial Psychology from the University of the Western Cape, the Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training from Walter Sisulu University. She completed the Management Advancement Program from Wits Business School and she is now training to be a Business, Life Coach and a Mentor, recently completed a short program that is inspired by the newly released book “Mastering the Art of Coaching” by Luthando Daniels.
Stephnie Lee Ntshona
Chief Administrative Officer
Stephnie is the Chief Administrative Officer of Africabx responsible for leading and facilitating the organisations administrative operations, ensuring that business functions are aligned with the company’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.
She has over 15 year’s administrative management experience in diverse sectors which include banking, health, insurance, personnel and industrial, for some of South Africa’s leading national and multinational corporations.
Her innovative thinking, and wealth of knowledge has ensured that the organisation has an effective administrative support system that enables the operationalization of strategic plans and drives business improvement and growth.
Stephnie is a professional Beauty Therapist, and a certified Massage, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology practitioner from S.G International.
She is currently studying towards a degree in Clinical Psychology.
